As the fourth edition of SiGMA closed its doors, we were left with a bright memory from the show and pleased with the outcome of numerous business meetings. Our general impression is “WOW” – the conference has been differently more ambitious this year.
SiGMA 2017 took place in a larger area of Malta Fairs & Convention Center, featuring an iGaming Village with two lounge areas and six different themed bars. This year’s edition also offered an educational iGaming Academy Forum. After a successful first run at 2016 event, SiGMA’s Startup Pitch was brought back this year. 10 selected finalists got the opportunity to present themselves to potential investors.
The opening day of the event included conferences and SEO masterclasses. At the end of the first day was the charity dinner along with the Malta iGaming Awards. From the second day, the focus shifted towards the expo floor with dozens of booths and crazy-action shows.
The Sigma 2017 became the great opportunity for iGaming representatives – B2B, sales, and affiliates, to get up to speed on industry trends, find new partners and tie up good deals. This years’ summit helped strengthen Malta’s status as an iGaming hotspot.
